My paintings are an exploration of my growth and evolution as a person. Finding my medium within acrylic and acrylic gouache I add sprays of water to blend them together just before they dry. The COVID pandemic gave me the opportunity to pause the chaos of my life and blossom into the melding of adjectives that described me.

My paintings reflect the brightness and boldness of who I’ve become and how intertwined it all feels. Every painting is layer upon layer of color until I feel the right moment to stop. The water I add to every layer gives the colors the textures and movement to bring them to their perfect melded form. Each piece of mine, can work on its own or perfectly together as a collection. Each one is a side of me and a side of my personality.

Originally my artistic styling was tattoo-esque in black and white ink drawings. The evolution of myself and this world, over the pandemic, has pushed me to experiment and change and in turn, it changed my art. I’m now an abstract contemporary painter and love to push the boundaries of what I thought was creatively possible for myself.
